International Applicants

An international applicant is anyone who is not a U.S. citizen or U.S. permanent resident at the time of application to Chicago GSB. Evening MBA and Weekend MBA students are not eligible for student visas. Admission to Chicago GSB does not guarantee non-immigrant status in the United States. Please see your nearest U.S. Embassy if you have questions about your status.

• Academic Record - All international applicants are required to hold a college or university degree equivalent to a four-year American baccalaureate degree. In light of the Bologna Accord, Chicago GSB will also accept all three-year international degrees to fulfill the undergraduate prerequisite for application to the GSB. You will be asked to either submit official academic records or provide a self-reported transcript.
• English Language Examinations - For those whose native language is not English, the GSB requires the Test of English as a Foreign Language (TOEFL) or the Academic version of the International English Language Testing System (IELTS).
