Jack Welch, the former CEO of General Electric, visited campus to talk business with students October 16. Widely regarded as the best CEO in the world, Welch drew an overflow crowd of business and law students eager to hear his views. In an informal conversation with Dean Edward A. Snyder, he spoke passionately on his beliefs and methods: killing bureaucracy, valuing people, seeking great ideas, and rewarding great performance.
