1963
JOHN KORETZ is retiring from Coopers & Lybrand after 25 years as partner in charge of computer assurance services in Chicago. He and his wife, Carol, plan to spend summers in their home in Highland Park, Illinois and winters in their home in Arizona. Their son, his wife and their two granddaughters live in the Chicago area. Their daughter and her husband live in Memphis, Tennessee.

1964
DONNA DULKSNYS writes that she retired from her position as branch manager at Bell Federal Bank in Hinsdale at the end of August.

1966
JOE TAYLOR FORD and Peter C. Granata recently wrote an executive marketing workbook calledThe Best Selling Product of the 21st Century Will Not Be a Product. (Ideation, Inc., 1997). Ford reports that it is the first written work on the field of experiential marketing, the packaging of products and services as experiences.

HENRY RODKIN was awarded the Lawrence W. Ryan Distinguished Teaching Award at DePaul University’s commencement in June. This honor is given annually to a professor selected by the graduating students. Rodkin, who spent 35 years in business, has worked as the Executive in Residence in the Marketing Department at DePaul for the past two years.

ROBERT J. MANNING was promoted from senior vice president to executive vice president at Commonwealth Edison Co.

MICHAEL SIMPSON was appointed by Wisconsin Governor Tommy G. Thompson to serve a three-year term on the state’s Small Business Environmental Council. The council is a component of the State of Wisconsin’s Clean Air compliance plan. Council members work to help small businesses understand and comply with the regulations of the Clean Air Acts Amendments.
