James studied German at an undergraduate and European Area Studies at the graduate school in Seoul. Prior to attending the GSB, he worked as a product manager for private banking client and economic researcher at Kookmin Bank. This summer, James interned at HSBC as Management Associate in Korea. At GSB, he is involved with Financial Analysis & Treasury Group and Investment Banking Group. He currently lives with his wife and newborn baby who is one month old.
