Marcelo is a second-year student at Chicago GSB concentrating in Finance and Strategy. Prior to the GSB, he worked with Risk Management and Corporate Governance at Bank Itau, in Brazil, where he also taught Mathematical Finance at undergraduate programs. This past summer Marcelo interned at Barclays PLC in London. At the GSB, Marcelo is a co-chair for the Latin America Business Group and Risk Management Group. Outside of school, Marcelo enjoys nightlife, CSI and soccer (he is still trying to understand Football and Baseball rules). Marcelo lives with his wife, Cassia, in downtown Chicago.
