Early Career Candidates: Overview and Application Process

If you are interested in participating in an MBA program at an early stage in your career, we've prepared a profile of what we look for in an applicant . Note: If you are a student at the University of Chicago, you should review the GSB Scholars program.

  • How to Apply - Most applicants use our online application system , which we recommend. You can apply online or by mail. If you apply by mail, please submit all application components together. Registration and creation of a username and password are required to begin the online application. You can download the application (PDF) for informational purposes.
  • Admissions Interviews - Interviews will be granted on an invitation-only basis after evaluation of a submitted application. A candidate who receives an invitation will have only one interview. Interviews are conducted by admissions staff, students or alumni. They are held on campus or in a location convenient for the prospective student. All interviews, regardless of who conducts them, receive equal weight in the evaluation process.
