Early Career Enrollment

We recognize that the type of individual who will thrive in our academic environment and contribute to our community is not necessarily defined by some set number of years of work experience or an average GMAT score. Thus, Chicago GSB actively seeks younger applicants who demonstrate a strong record of success and clear vision for their future.

Two programs are available to interested candidates who are considering enrolling at the GSB directly after college or after only one year of work experience.

• Early Career Option - The Early Career Option is open to people who have one year's worth of post-college work experience.  College seniors can also apply. 

• GSB Chicago Scholars Program - The GSB Scholars Program is offered to fourth-year students in the College of the University of Chicago. Successful applicants are given an automatic deferral of enrollment for two to three years. In this deferral period, they are expected to develop substantive work experience that will position them to succeed at the GSB.
