Student-Alumni Interaction
Alumni are glad to provide business introductions, leadership insights, company or industry information and practical feedback. As a student, you'll have numerous opportunities to get to meet and know alumni.
- school events and activities - such as the Distinguished Speaker Series, International Forum, World Wide GSB Night and Corporate Day
- the four international residencies - many alumni serve as company hosts during these week-long sessions where you'll learn more about the local business community
- Alumni clubs - 88 alumni clubs in cities and countries ranging from Finland to San Francisco, from Athens to Mexico sponsor social and professional events.
- Business Forecast Events – For over 45 years, Business Forecast draws a large attendance as people come to hear GSB professors and prominent alumni take a look at what they see as the trends shaping the coming year. Events are held in over 18 cities around the world including Miami, Beijing, Brussels and Frankfurt.
- Women’s Week - Sponsored by the Chicago Women in Business Alumnae Network, these are an opportunity to meet one-on-one with a Chicago alumna. Many regions of CWIBAN host admit receptions to introduce incoming women to each other and to local alumnae.
- Global Leadership Events - The Global Leadership Series features GSB faculty experts and extraordinary business leaders discuss global trends affecting business. Upcoming events include presentations in Paris, Hong Kong, New York and Frankfurt.
