Admissions Decisions

Approximately 270 students will matriculate in June of 2009. All candidates are informed of admission decisions via email or postal mail. The Chicago, London, and Singapore campuses handle admissions processes for their own locations. Some of the decision notification dates may be slightly different. If you have questions about decision dates, please contact the campus location you are applying to.

All application decisions fall into the following categories:

London: 4-6 weeks after application is submitted
Final deadline April 1, 2009 Chicago: on or before May 1, 2009
Singapore: 4-6 weeks after application is submitted
London: 4-6 weeks after application is submitted 

  • Admit: applicant is admitted into the program for the year that they apply. A $5,000 deposit will be required, along with a signed acceptance letter and letter of company support in order to reserve a seat.  
  • Deny: applicant is denied for the year in which they apply.
  • Admit Future Quarter: applicant is admitted to the program starting in the year following the application year (for example, if you apply for the class starting in 2009, you will be accepted for the class starting in 2010).
  • Future Date Decision: a final decision cannot be made and applicant will be asked to wait for an admission decision.

International Applicants and Executive MBA Program North America 

An international applicant to the Chicago campus program is anyone who is not a U.S. citizen or U.S. permanent resident at the time of application. Executive MBA students are not eligible for student visas. Admission to Chicago GSB does not guarantee non-immigrant status in the United States. Please see your nearest U.S. Embassy if you have questions about your status.
