Collaborative LearningThe Chicago Approach is all about collaboration – professors and students asking questions, debating, testing theories, solving problems and defending solutions. Everyone works together to make ideas and learning better. In the ClassroomIn the Executive MBA Program, your colleagues will bring an average of 13 years of work experience to discussions. An assistant comptroller from the Phillipines. A regional sales director from Vienna. A general counsel from Texas. Whatever the topic, someone is certain to have a useful insight to share based on their own experience. In Study GroupsCollaboration really comes into play with groups. Made up of people of different nationalities, job function, professional industry and academic background, study groups serve as project teams on group assignments and an academic support network. In each instance, the perspectives and understanding of global business they share greatly enrich the learning process. Geography is not an issue even though most students reside outside the cities where the programs meet. Face-to-face meetings usually take place during the class sessions. International SessionsThe Executive MBA Program includes four international sessions of one week in length where all three campuses gather. You will meet twice in Chicago and one time each in Singapore and London. These sessions are designed to expand your network of resources - in the classroom and out. |
