Attend a Career Fair

Chicago GSB hosts a number of events where companies can network with students informally.

  • Corporate Networking Lunch: Our spring Corporate Networking Lunch (CNL) has replaced our annual spring career fair. The reception-style format allows companies to hold in-depth conversations with small groups of students and the event is a great way to seek out the best student talent for your full-time and intern just-in-time hiring needs. Firms will also have the opportunity to interview students on site. This year's CNL will take place on April 17, 2008.
  • Corporate Networking Nights: Corporate Networking Nights (CNNs) have replaced our annual fall career fair (Corporate Forum). These networking events focus on a specific industry or job function and are a great way for firms to network with students. CNNs are held in the fall at the Charles M. Harper Center.
  • Treks and Quests: These career exploration trips, planned by students, allow them to explore opportunities and meet recruiters and alumni in a specific location or industry. Past treks have included visits to the Bay Area, New York, Los Angeles, Latin America, and London. Contact us to learn more about planned treks.
  • Student-sponsored Forums: Several student groups on campus host conferences and career fairs to explore opportunities within an industry. The Chicago Options Guide highlights opportunities for your company to get involved in these events.
  • Summer Events: Many firms host events over the summer quarter for GSB students interning in the area. MBA Career Services promotes these events to students on our website. View Summer Recruiting details online, and contact your relationship manager for assistance in selecting a date and promoting your event.
  • MBA Global Career Forum: Chicago GSB has joined nine other leading business programs (Wharton, Columbia, Stanford, Kellogg, MIT, London Business School, INSEAD and IMD) for the MBA Global Career Forum, two on-line recruiting opportunities for global business firms, November 19-30, 2007 and February 18-29, 2008. Firms will have the opportunity to promote their organization, review resumes/CVs, post jobs, and receive and review applications. The MBA Global Career Forum is also unique opportunity to engage with top MBA students through scheduled live presentations, webcasts, and online chats.

If your visit to Chicago GSB includes an overnight stay, we've compiled a list of suggested hotels (PDF).
