Brandon Savage, MD
Chief Medical Officer and General Manager Global Marketing
GE Healthcare Integrated IT Solutions

Dr. Savage's responsibilities include working with the healthcare community to establish clinical vision and strategy and then drive these into the current and future products. Leveraging this strategy, the enterprise team seeks to establish integrated product suites which enable digital communities.

At GE, Dr. Savage has led the development of products such as computerized provider order entry (CPOE) and has worked with numerous healthcare delivery organizations globally to choose and implement software solutions. His team is currently working on numerous projects including regional health information organization applications (RHIOs), knowledge management, information access, collaborative workflow and decision support.

Prior to joining GE in 2002, Dr. Savage was practicing internal medicine and was an assistant professor of medicine at the University of California San Diego with a focus on clinical trials, patient safety, and residency training. During his tenure at UCSD he also co-founded Intensive Solutions International, which developed software for managing patients in intensive care units. Prior to medical school, Dr. Savage developed software for the banking industry including loan and leasing modules.
